Primary Care Access Plan

Simple. Accessible. Personal.

Small businesses deserve a realistic way to offer healthcare.
Employees deserve access to care without jumping through hoops.

The Primary Care Access Plan from Alabama Virtual Care provides predictable, affordable primary care — without insurance, networks, or hidden fees.

Cost & Pricing

The Primary Care Access Plan is designed to be affordable and predictable for small businesses.

Cost:
$40 per enrolled employee, per month

Employers have full flexibility in how this cost is handled:

  • The employer may cover the full cost

  • The cost may be shared between employer and employee

  • Or the employee may opt in via payroll deduction

There are no contracts, no minimum participation requirements, and no insurance billing.

Because this is a direct-care access plan — not insurance — pricing stays transparent and easy to budget month to month.

Cost Sharing- On Your Terms

Every small business is different. That’s why the Primary Care Access Plan is designed to be flexible.

The cost is $40 per enrolled employee per month, and you decide how that cost is shared.

Employers may:

  • Cover the full monthly cost

  • Share the cost with employees

  • Offer the plan as an optional employee benefit through payroll deduction

Example:
An employer may choose to contribute $20 per month, with the remaining $20 deducted from the employee’s paycheck.

There are no required employer contribution minimums and no one-size-fits-all rules. You choose the structure that works best for your business and your team.

Why Not?

For many small businesses, offering health insurance just isn’t realistic.
But doing nothing doesn’t feel right either.

The Primary Care Access Plan offers a simple middle ground.

  • Predictable monthly cost you can plan for

  • Tax-deductible business expense in most cases*

  • No insurance contracts, brokers, or renewals

  • A real benefit employees actually use

For less than the cost of a single out-of-pocket office visit, employers can offer meaningful access to primary care — and show their team they matter.

If you’re already paying for sick days, lost productivity, or turnover, this is a small step that can make a real difference.

Why not offer something?

*Employers should consult their tax professional regarding deductibility.
